Letter from Dean Monica Coen Christensen, EdD

As 教务长 I work hard to ensure that students have the support they need to develop fun 和 supportive friendships, create an ethos of cooperation 和 kindness, promote a healthy 和 vibrant student experience 和 make sure students find help when they run into difficulty. 

I am proud to play a small part in the nurturing of young musicians as they find their place in the community of artists 和 enter the “creative class.” 

At Manhattan School of Music the entire 学生事务 team is accessible to 我们的 student body.

I advise all students to take the time to know the staff in Student Engagement, 居住生活, the 校园 健康 Nurse Office 和 the 咨询 Office 和 see what they have to offer. 

Feel free to stop by my office if you need something or just to say, “Hello.” If the door is closed the staff in Student Engagement can make you an appointment to see me, or you can always email me!
